Bella is a beautiful, affectionate little girl who has truly blossomed during her time in foster care. From the moment she arrived, it was clear that all she wanted was love, cuddles, and good food. Although she was initially a little quiet and cautious in her new surroundings, she quickly settled into family life and has gained confidence every day.

Personality
Bella is an incredibly loving and trusting dog who adores human companionship. She enjoys attention from everyone she meets and is equally happy spending time with men and women. One of her favourite things is rolling over for belly rubs, curling up for cuddles, and being close to her people. She has a gentle nature and has shown no signs of aggression during her time in foster. Bella is happiest when she is part of the family and enjoys being involved in everyday life.

Living with Other Dogs
Bella has settled in wonderfully with her foster family’s two resident dogs. She especially enjoys playing with Oscar, the resident male dog, and the two can often be found running around the garden together, playing with tennis balls, or rolling around having fun.
Bella would thrive in a home with another friendly dog of a similar size and temperament.

Socialising and Walks
Bella walks beautifully on the lead. She can be a little cautious initially when out and about but she does not react negatively to other dogs or
people. She happily passes other dogs without barking or lunging and enjoys receiving attention from people she meets during walks.
Although she has had limited opportunities to socialise with unfamiliar dogs outside the home, she has shown herself to be calm and well-mannered.

Playtime
Bella loves to play. Tennis balls are a particular favourite, and she enjoys games of catch and tug. She is also very fond of belly rubs and interactive play with her family.

Food and Treats
Bella has a healthy appetite and absolutely loves her food. She is currently fed separately from the resident dogs simply because she is enthusiastic at mealtimes. She is learning good manners around other dogs while they eat and has quickly worked out exactly where the treats are kept!
Due to her tendency to eat quickly, she benefits from smaller meals throughout the day.

Home Life
Bella is fully house trained, although there have been the occasional minor accidents on puppy pads. She generally lets her family know when she needs to go outside.
At night, Bella enjoys sleeping upstairs with her foster family, curled up on a fluffy blanket on the bed. She settles well and sleeps through the night after a final trip into the garden before bedtime.
She is comfortable wearing a harness and collar and gets excited when it’s time for a walk. Bella has also tolerated bathing and grooming extremely well, viewing it as extra attention and pampering.

Travelling
Bella is an excellent traveller and enjoys car journeys. She settles well in the car and loves being close to her people.

Things to Consider
Bella forms strong bonds with her family and can become a little vocal when left alone. Her foster family feels she may experience some mild separation anxiety and would therefore be best suited to a home where someone is around for much of the day and where she has another canine companion for company.
She is not keen on loud noises but is unbothered by everyday traffic and outdoor sounds during walks.

Children and Other Pets
Bella has not been assessed with cats.
She could potentially live with sensible older children and teenagers. As she has not had interactions with younger children during foster care, a home with older children would be recommended.

Bella is a wonderful, affectionate, and loyal dog who has so much love to give. She has settled beautifully into foster care, built strong relationships with both people and dogs, and continues to grow in confidence every day.
