Say hello to **Zeus** – a charming, playful boy who’s come such a long way since first arriving in foster care. Once a little unsure, Zeus has truly blossomed into a confident, loving companion who just wants to be part of family life. 💛

🏡 Life in Foster

Zeus currently lives with two friendly female dogs (both spayed) and two cats – and he’s doing great with them all! He enjoys playing with his doggy pals and is happy to share toys and meal times without any fuss. Mealtimes are calm and relaxed as all three dogs eat together with no issues.

He’s also met plenty of people in the home. He can bark when visitors first arrive (especially if they’re in the garden), but once he realises everything’s fine, he soon settles down and enjoys the company.

🐕 Out & About

Zeus enjoys his walks and loves exploring the outdoors. He can bark at other dogs on walks, especially when out with his smaller friends – it’s more of a protective instinct than anything else. With gentle reassurance, he soon relaxes and carries on happily. He travels well in the car and loves going out on adventures!

🧸 Toys, Sleep & Routine

Zeus is a playful boy who enjoys toys and playtime with his doggy friends. When it’s time to rest, he likes to curl up on the bed with his foster family – he’s a proper cuddle bug! He sleeps through the night peacefully and has a lovely evening routine that includes a post-dinner walk and a final bedtime wee around 9–10pm.

💖 Behaviour & Personality

Zeus has made incredible progress in foster care. He’s not shown any aggression – just a bit of protective barking when other dogs are around. He can be a little nervous on walks but responds beautifully to reassurance and positive attention.

He’s good with grooming (he loves his regular spa days every 8 weeks!) and doesn’t mind loud noises or movement around the home. Zeus has learned to relax and trust – and it’s heartwarming to see how far he’s come.

🏠 Ideal Home

Zeus would thrive in a loving, active home where he’s treated as part of the family. He could live with other friendly dogs or be an only dog as long as he gets plenty of attention and companionship.
He could live with **older, sensible children (around 16+)**, as he prefers a calmer environment. Zeus has also learned to coexist peacefully with cats after an initial adjustment period.
