🐾 Meet Theo – Looking for His Forever Home! 🐾

Age: Approx 1 year old
Theo is a gorgeous one year old pup with a zest for life and a heart full of love. Friendly, affectionate and always ready for his next adventure, he’s the sort of dog who brings a smile wherever he goes.

From the moment Theo arrived in foster, he settled in well and quickly showed what a sociable and outgoing boy he is. He loves people, enjoys meeting new dogs and greets everyone with a wagging tail and plenty of enthusiasm. Whether he’s out on walks exploring or welcoming visitors into the home, Theo approaches life with confidence and curiosity.

Theo currently lives with two resident dogs and another foster dog. He has made friends with them all and particularly enjoys games of chase and hide-and-seek. Because of his playful nature and young age, he would be best suited to a home with another confident dog to learn from, to play with and for companionship.

Theo walks well on a lead and harness. He loves meeting people and other dogs, and shows no signs of reactivity or aggression. Nothing much fazes him either – loud noises, the vacuum cleaner and busy surroundings don’t seem to bother him.

Theo has settled beautifully into his foster routine. He happily sleeps in his crate overnight and is comfortable being crated for short periods when left alone with another dog especially when rewarded with a tasty treat.

He travels well in the car in a seatbelt and harness. He enjoys being brushed and handled, and happily wears his harness and collar.

As with many young dogs, Theo is still learning. He’s also a clever, inquisitive lad who loves investigating everything around him. He’ll need plenty of appropriate chew toys and ongoing positive training to show him boundaries and guidance.

Theo could possibly live with dog savvy children aged 7+ who would respect his space.

He has only briefly met cats during walks and has shown curiosity rather than any signs of chasing or aggression. With careful introductions he may be able to live with a dog savvy cat.

Theo’s house training is improving all the time but he may need reminding of this in a new home.

He would also benefit from positive reward based training as he’s very bright and will do anything for a tasty treat.

Theo would thrive with an active family who can continue his training, provide plenty of enrichment and include him in everyday life. In return, you’ll gain a loyal, affectionate and entertaining companion who is eager to learn and loves being part of the action.

If you’re looking for a fun, friendly young dog with bags of personality and enormous potential, Theo could be the perfect addition to your family.

As he is still only young he would best be suited to a home where someone is around for much of the day with another young confident doggy friend for company.
