Polly is a sweet puppy with a sad story. After being adopted to what we thought was her forever home, she was sadly given back to us after 2 days, through absolutely no fault of her own with a very sad ultimatum. She is in a wonderful foster home, but she needs a home of her own urgently! She’s a big bouncy girl and loves playing and running around! It’s for this reason she’ll need a home without young children. She’s good with other dogs, but if she’s re-homed with another dog they’ll need to be medium sized as she can be boisterous! If you can offer our lovely girl a home, please get in touch.
“Polly update… I must admit at first I was a bit unsure if I’d done the right thing temp fostering Polly as we only lost our beloved Whippet Murphy this week, but she’s been a welcome distraction for us all.
She was very scared at first understandably as she’s been passed about a little bit she soon came round and the next thing we knew was sprawled out wanting tummy tickles.
As soon as my partner walked into the room she wagged at him as though he was an old friend, he asked her to sit and give paw, which to our amazement she did lol, so someone’s spent time playing with her.
We’ve let her meet our 4 dogs but only through the gate and she wanted to play.
I’m obviously nervous of letting them play as mine are only small and one is tiny so I don’t think I’d let little Nina play with her as she is way smaller than Polly’s head!
She did her business before bedtime and again in the night when I let her out, she hasn’t made a murmur all night and greeted us all with a waggy tail this morning… she’s looking for her furever home and will make someone an amazing family dog as she’s treat orientated therefore very trainable, she’s a beautiful clever girl” – Polly’s Foster Mum, Tracy.
