My Name is Phyllis

I have been taken out of the kill shelter where i thought i was going to die, my mum was sadly killed in the shelter by other dogs so me and my sister was left alone, i was very scared but now someone has helped me and tells me it will be okay..

Now ready for her forever home:

Phyllis
Location: Leicestershire
• I am a small sized mixed breed female from Romania and I am approximately 16 months old.
• I am a very sweet, happy and affectionate girl and I love lots of cuddles.
• I am extremely friendly with people and other small dogs when out walking.
• I am nervous of bigger dogs than me so I bark and yelp at them.
• I can be nervous of some new things but I’m gaining confidence all the time.
• I would love to be rehomed with another young, confident, active doggy friend who can help build my confidence, to play with and to learn from.
• I would benefit from lots of socialisation with other dogs on walks to help increase my confidence.
• My house training is improving all the time so I may need reminding of this in a new home.
• I am crate trained and I walk well on my lead and harness.
• I settle well at night and sleep through until the morning. I share a large crate with my foster sister Gertie and sleep downstairs.
• I enjoy having a bath, being brushed and having my teeth cleaned.
• I really enjoy my food but as I eat my food slowly I need to be fed away from the resident dogs or they will try to eat my food too.
• I travel well in the car in the boot and a dog guard or crate is recommended.
• I enjoy playing with toys and I love to play with my foster sisters especially Gertie.
• I have not met any children so I would like a home with dog savvy children over 10 years old who will also respect my space.
• I have not been tested with cats.
• I am currently in foster with 3 other dogs.
• I am in a foster home in Leicestershire.
• I am microchipped, vaccinated and spayed.
• I have had a blood test for Brucella Canis at the APHA Lab in the UK which was negative.
