Fostering can be a challenge but very rewarding.
I volunteered as an emergency foster carer after my daughter adopted from One Paw. After a couple of weeks of fostering beautiful Mila we adopted her and are now awaiting our next foster fur baby! Such a dedicated and caring team headed by Shaun and Shane Duffin. Lovely network of people readily available with support and advice. Animals are number one priority here - as it should be!

We are looking for foster carers that are happy to take dogs into their home until we are able to find a forever home for them. Foster carers play a huge role in a rescue dog’s life and by becoming a One Paw Foster Family, you can help us save more dogs from unnecessary abuse or destruction.
All foster families will receive full support and advice regarding the dog in their care; we don't just leave you to it! We're there for you every step of the way. Any veterinary treatment is covered by One Paw at a Time.
Just like us rescue dogs come in all shapes, sizes and with different personalities so whatever your experience level, we will always endeavour to place the most appropriate dog into your care.
We can only let people foster within 2 hours of Nottingham, this is to ensure the dog is close to one of our other fosters, should anything go wrong. Potential foster families that work full time may still be considered so please do apply! Unfortunately we cannot foster to families with children under 7 years of age.
If you can help foster, please do get in touch by filling in our interest form.
