Adopt a One Paw – Toto
- I am a male mixed breed from Romania and I am just over 1 year old and weigh 8 kgs.
- I like meeting new people and can be excitable but am learning to calm down a bit.
- I am confident around people and love being out and about.
- I do tend to follow my foster mum around the house as I prefer being with others rather than being alone.
- I have been left for short periods of time but in my crate. I do cry to start with and get very excited to see my foster parents on their return.
- I am looking for a home where someone is around most of the time, and who can work with me to build up the length of time I am left gradually.
- I sleep in the crate in my foster-mum's room and am quiet all night.
- I get on well with other dogs and love to play. I am looking for a home with at least ONE OTHER playful dog for company and for reassurance.
- I will play with soft toys and will share with other dogs.
- I walk well on my lead both in the park and on the street, although heavy traffic does make me a little nervous. I will wait at the side of the road before crossing and have started to sit when asked.
- I am house trained, and will let you know if I need a wee, but have had the odd accident when I get excited.
- I stand still to be dried off after a wet walk and am content having a wash in the bath. I even quite like being blow dried with the hair dryer.
- I enjoy food and have tried both wet and dry food and am happy with both. I get excited when being fed but have now started to sit for my food. I also like the odd treat and will now sit for them.
- After having some flea treatment in Romania I have lost some of my fur but it has started to grow back - I'm still very cute though!
- Older sensible children only
- I have had no contact with cats yet so not sure if I like them.
- I am vaccinated, microchipped and neutered
- I am currently in a foster home in Nottinghamshire.
